Description
A cloak for my No.1 Brother ~Viper-Monkey-Girl inspired by designs of nurse cloaks from the first world war.
This is a practical winter garment.
The outer and facings are a black wool/mohair blend.
The lining and straps are red cotton. The buttons have also been covered using the same red cotton so that they match.
The centre front, facings, collar and hem have all been interfaced with a mid-weight woven fusing.
The buttons and button holes were all hand sewn. The hem was also hand finished.
The cloak fastens a number of ways; the shoulder straps can either be tied at the front or crossed over and buttoned at the back.
There is a hook+eye at the base of the neck and there are 5 buttons down the centre front, which are hidden on the inside.
